      <image:title>Parents - As a mother…</image:title>
<image:caption>I know how challenging raising children can be. We question if they are developing in line with their peers. What can we be doing as parents to nurture their growth while allowing their development to unfold at its own pace? Children are learning how to manage their emotions, cooperate with peers, move to the rhythm of their home and classroom, and to follow directions. As an educator, I have seen far too many children given unnecessary disability labels, struggle in their community preschool and parents unsure of where to turn for behavioral support. I have counseled and coached hundreds of parents and look forward to partnering with others through a variety of personal services to fit your family’s needs.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Educators - As an itinerant teacher…</image:title>
<image:caption>I have had the opportunity to work with teachers and administrators of community preschools. Each school has its own philosophy and manner of educational delivery that supports their community of learners. In my experience, I have found teachers eager to support their students, but lacking the appropriate training in developmental practices and strategies to meet the developmental and behavioral needs of their students. I would be honored to support your teaching staff through such topics as: embedding developmental skills practice in the classroom, supporting students with developmental delays, how to collaborate with colleagues to save time and to generate new ideas, working with students with IEP’s and how to support students who are challenged with emotional regulation and behavior. Services available include professional training, observations with follow up feedback and direct consulting on strategies to support your little learners and professional staff. I look forward to supporting your center’s specific needs to empower staff to create a nurturing, safe and enriching learning environment.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Me - Lorraine Gryniewich</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a New York transplant, where I grew up in the suburbs and on the beaches of Long Island. I live in Northern VA with my two teens and rescue pup. I received a BA in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo and an MA in Early Childhood Education from Hood College. I have been an educator for 18 years as a preschool, kindergarten, and first grade teacher working in both the private and public sector. I hold a current dual teacher certification in Virginia for toddlers-3rd grade in both general and special education. Currently, I am an ECSE teacher supporting students in their community preschools and homes. I collaborate with classroom teachers and parents through a method of coaching and modeling strategies and helping to create developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning and self confidence.</image:caption>
